Yesterday was Parv's house-warming. She prepared great food to entertain us. We ended the night with session of Kinect. After that my body was sweating and I was aching all over! Quite an interesting game!

I think I must be a fan. I've been to all three of his concerts, first one for free and the other two I bought the tickets!

I wasn't very impressed with his interaction with the audience in SG this time around. 有距离感。Perhaps he wasn't well, cos it just wasn't high enough. He was singing and dancing! What he could have done is get his audience to do likewise!

His concerts are interesting with a particular message that he wants to convey. I think he really connects his concerts with a theme. Though his concerts are not as awesome as 五月天's, but his vocals are steady and most of the time GREAT!

I think I would still be interested to watch him again.

But thanks to Ailing and Xintian, the "coffee maker" that I bought 4 years ago was finally put to good use. The coffee is fragrant, smooth and very refreshing. It is just what I need on a Sunday night to get me to clear the work. It also channels all the guilt that I felt for resting over the weekend. Somehow, I'm always tired and I really need a lot of energy to get by!

Here's the entire process:

Step (1) Add two teaspoons of fragrant coffee powder flown in from Vietnam.

Step (2) Compress the powder.

Step (3) Put condensed milk into the glass to prepare for the drip! See the setup.

Step (4) Pour in boiling water. WATCH the drip!

Step (5) Stir in the milk... VIOLA! Enjoy the coffee...

I enjoyed myself this CNY though I'm thoroughly going to be upset because I I'd not do much work over the 4 days! But who cares?!

I really need to find a good mobile app to put up the posts. If this is good, I might just move back to blogger!

Qualities of a good blogging app:
(1) easy to use
(2) able to post pics
(3) free or cheap
(4) doesn't crash!

Have been using the blogwrite and wordpress app but the first cannot pu up pics unless u buy the full version. The latter kept crashing whenever I insert a pic!

Anyway, here's what I did yesterday 8th Jan 2011. I brought 19 NPCC cadets to watch our 3 sec 3 cadets and 2 cadet inspectors participate in the farewell parade for Out-going NPCC council member - Mr Charles Chong.

So be gone are those insecurities that I do not treat my students well. I love them and will sorely miss those whom have brightened up my life. So to that rude fellow of tat class, I do not think u are in any position to criticise my attitude. I may take very long to warm up to my students, I assure u my care and concern is always there! Just because I woke u up from your slumber asking you to pay attention to announcements doesn't constitute to "being unconcerned about your well-being".

Ya, you are right when you go "what??!!". That rude fellow had the cheek to say to me, " didn't you think maybe I am not feeling well", blar blar blar... Which wasn't the response he gave when I first went up to him. So the teacher supposed to know he's not feeling well, even if he didn't say. If they put their head on the table and I ask them to wake up, i'm being unconcerned... HAHA!

Had to be the record-breaking today...

I'm trying to decide which is lesser of two evils, "flip table then cry" or the "I have done everything there is to do, aka some classes are more efficient than others"

I decided that the latter was worse. Nothing beats having to tolerate the "over the top" attitude. I was just angry when the boy flipped table and later on he started weeping cos he knew he's in trouble. But with this case I felt more. Sense of loss... Chilled to the bones... I told myself to chill, everything that can be done serves no satisfaction for me as well. Only deemed as weakness...

Besides, it was only a matter if "bad mood".

We all woke up super early today to go for the 5 km run!

We all made it in time for the 5km flag off. All the gals pretended like they dun wanna run. But in the end all can't stand trailing behind the masses, so all run! (including Susan who we know is the fastest but most reluctant amongst all of us)

Reena aka our leader suggests that we join the 10 km next yr! So enthu!

The funniest part was prob how we were stopped by two groups of people:
1. Tis guy wanted to speak to us abt the sports products we used etc.
2. Prob reporter for Shape mag. We may appear in the mag?

Anyway, very tired but still gotta collect Mayday's concert tickets! Yeah!

What happened to ENERGY on the first day of school?

For the first time in my life, I felt that it was difficult to teach a class. I couldn't connect with them at all! Makes me feel like I don't know how to teach maths. There was no structure, no nothing! I could be teaching the air etc!

Maybe there is such a thing as compatibility between teachers and students? The A has to match with A while the B has to match with B. But what if A has to match with B?

It's been an eventful week. Assignment, Birthday, School, Lessons, Scold, Angry, all sorts of things.

3rd Mar

The most frustrating day of this year. From SR to math class to chem class... First time in the year I teared. But after that I was feeling betta cos there was a birthday song even though it was on the wrong day. Left sch early for the first time in the year as well to rest and relax.

4th Mar

Most enjoyable morning cos I had the 2nd birthday song and it was the correct day this time. Was giving out a test and was pleasantly surprised by the powerpoint presentation sent to me via the email. Finally got a chance to walk back to my table and I found my "sustained achievement" award!

Was in the middle of of another boring masters class when Mike sent me an mms of the kids with the birthday card for me!

5th Mar

Din sleep the whole night cos had to submit my assignment today! Was writing and writing. Had to go through the ALD somemore! But I perservered. Hand in assignment and I am finally free to celebrate!

6th Mar

"I am gifted, so are you" workshop! I really hope they will benefit. And of course.... tonight's make-up birthday celebration!

CONGRATS! HAPPY DAY!

Today's the release of GCE 'N' level results.

I'm not very surprised by 4T1's good results for science. Those who did well deserved it. I still can remember how I felt after the first time I stepped into the class. I was really pleasantly surprised that they were relatively quite well behaved (You know who I'm comparing to right?). Many said this class was hard to manage but I enjoyed them.

I had to scream and shout at them until they were scared to hear how loud I could be. But there were many in the class who I really appreciate. THANKS guys!

To Elijah who spent so much time with me working hard before the exams, I hope you felt it was worth it. The results were not too bad! Science = B

To all the girls! Power! All passed science!

To the top scorers (Vincent, Chin Teck, Zheng Sheng, Li Yuan, Catherine, Amelia, Jun Hao), all in the same group of friends. All worked hard together! All got A in science! haha!

To the group of boys, Sheeraz (the prom king!), Aqmal all scored A as well!

To some who were slightly disppointed like Sathish, you still did very well (still got an A for science!)

To the group that gave me trouble after trouble even though I can handle all these trouble and I'm glad I had guided for the 2 years: Boon Kiat, you turned out great. I'm sure you'll be able to find a course to take up. Rabbani, thanks for telling me that I don't know how to put myself in others shoes. But I'm sure your route ahead will still be great! Aloysious, with the amount of sleeping you've done in class be grateful you passed all! Of course to Wei An who got an A in science, thanks for asking me to invite you to my wedding. I'll let you know when it happens!

The first trip that I am "in-charge". So scary! I was so worried about many things. Thank goodness I have Mr Siraj, Mr Ho and Ms Tan who were my support during this period of time! I'm looking forward to our next combined uniform group trip!

Uniform group overseas trip to Indonesia. Oh my goodness! I didn't do too well this time. I wanted to cater for 20 people, but I effectively only have 10 cadets.

ULTIMATE SPOILER OF MY DAY!!!!

I have this cadet who went to Mr Heng and informed Mr Heng of the clash. But didn't think it was important to inform me. I went ahead with the booking and everything. Today when I confronted him. You know what he told me? He said,"I was busy with the EOY. I thought I can inform you after the exams."

The exams is only 1 week from the trip! That's not the most upsetting thing. He avoided me for a few weeks! Avoid submitting the documents! When I confronted him juz now, I spoke to him calmly: As calm as I can... You know I'll burst already if it were for other people. But juz now I found out from particular sources... This cadet's msn message was,"**## NPCC". Made mistake, explained to him, will still scold us like this.

My message to him was that he should have been more responsible. I was disappointed. I hope he can reflect and not repeat his mistake! This is what I get....

Totally spoilt my whole day! Despite the excitement from the SL course!

Went on the course for International S-L for 3 days. There are people whom are not open to SL concept, there are also many who are "enthu"s. Very insightful to realise that BVSS has come a really long long way when it comes to OSL! Great work, Mike, Josh, Sharon and Siraj...! All pioneers and leaders for the teams....

I mean it was tough to deviate away from having people to do the planning for you! I wonder how you guys did it! Now, 2 years after India, I'm finally trying to consolidate. I guess I knew the primary reason why I'm MIA but I always harbour the thought that I might be able to go on a long long one again...

Tomorrow is the last day which is probably the most important part of the course.

Cost me a bomb to be at this wedding. Congrats to my cousin and his wife.... We hang out a lot when we were little but I can hardly recognise him now.... It has been almost 10 years I think since I last saw him... It was really embarrassing cos when I arrived at Ritz, he called me but for a moment I couldn't figure who he was. Then it finally dawn on me that it's the groom....

But it was quite sad... We didn't stay close after a while....

Oh my goodness! I finally finished setting papers. Definitely a lot of mistakes.... I told my classes the questions are not easy. Definitely not easy!

Just worried because a few of them still not putting in effort. A few of them are taking their own sweet time to catch up! I feel the drag! Still have to teach an entire chapter within 2 periods tomorrow. I'm sure most of them won't hand up the weekend assignments on time. I'm fed up! But with regards to marking, I'm lagging behind....

4E papers came in this morning... I hope they did well... But up to today, some silly individuals can tell me didn't bring french curve, didn't bring mathematical sets etc... What kind of attitude is this?

Last, to top it all off for today... Aida came over and told me that the students were surprised that I'm the same age as her.... She looked so much younger. Thanks people, you don't have to tell me this... I know teaching has taken years and years of youth away from me. I used to throw tantrums at my partners, friends, parents etc... But I was never so jaded.... haha.. Whatever that means....

Better stop all my blabbering... According to a particular BH man, we should not say too much on the blogs... Haha! so miss can can, pls find time to chit chat so that I can tell u more!

I will definitely update about the Teachers' Day celebrations. But as I lie on my bed and getting ready for bed, I was reading through some old sms-es and I saw this one. One that was sent to me sometime exactly a year back. In the same teachers' Day week. I was quite upset about it... Guess he will never know....

"Hi if you consider L a friend... Do talk to her and find out how she is feeling about being left out of the grp. You are the best person. Cos you know both two girls and L and you are a girl. Has your impression of L been somewhat influenced by the bitching? I am concerned for L as a friend. Disappointed that friendship is so superficial within the group with all the bitching. If L is not a friend then don't have to do anything. She will just have to take it or leave it. Thats life anyway..."

I was feeling really down at that point of time. He really put me down in a position that I didn't think I deserve to be in. I don't get accepted in a group just so easily. I try very hard when it comes to getting people to accept me. I adapt and try... That's the typical piscean. We are very worried about others' perception. I had been trying and is always still trying to gain acceptance. And there he was trying to get me to think for the girl. He pointed his fingers at me as if I was the one who made the girl felt out of place and I needed to take responsibility.

Who was there to ever think for me? When he was defending the girl, did he think about how I might be feeling as well... Well... A big thank you.... I will just have to be strong like I always am. I have drifted away, partly because of him and he probably doesn't know that...

My Car Crash... My sad story...

Oh my goodness! I was so careless....

I knocked into someone's car at the entrance of Ikea's carpark on Monday 25th Aug 2008 at around 7pm. It was my fault, I couldn't stop in time.

BUT...

I got off the car and this family of four came down. The father and mother started taking down my particulars and stuff. I was okay with it... All the usual administrative work... blar blar... etc. I started talking to the father who was the driver of the car. I specifically told him that I would prefer that we settle this matter outside without claims from the insurance.

WELL...

He "seemed" rather nice about everything. Said ok, he understood that my NCD would be affected and he didn't mind going to a workshop that I recommend. I called him on the same day at 11pm to give him the details about the workshop of my father's friend. It would be less costly to go to the workshop. And most probably I would be able to afford.

HOWEVER...

9 am (merely 14 hours after the accident):

SMSed me to tell me that his assessor from the authorised workshop said he must claim from against my insurance after the report.

9.30 am (14.5 hours after the accident):

I called his insurance company to check for him whether we can still settle the problem privately.

10 am (15 hours after the accident):

I called Mr L to tell him that we can still settle privately. All he has to do was to drive to my father's friend's workshop then I would pay and settle everything for him.

10.15 am (15 hours 15 minutes after the accident):

Mr L told me, "Oh but sorry to tell you this but I've fixed the car already". In short, after less than 24 hours he had already sent his car to the workshop and sent for repairs! And the repairs cost 3-4K! My goodness....

MY QUESTION...

My question is this: If he really was willing to settle privately, would he have gotten everything settled within such a short period of time? Not even 1 day had past! Was this man ever so kind to want to help me?

THINKING ABOUT EVERYTHING....

His car is SDM 8XXX T... Means his car is at least 5 to 7 years old! Max life span of singaporean cars is 10 years. For another 3 to 5 years of driving. He was probably claiming an entire new door, new tailgate new lamps or whatever! It was really mean.... Especially don't try to be nice when you really not nice. I was so naive... Ya! Really pay $$ to learn a lesson....

Look at the condition of his car... Did it look like it takes 3-4K to pay?

Thanks to 4T1 who patiently listened to my story... I was trying to teach some important information about percentages as I talked about the story... But I guess it wasn't important, I knew you all were going to be supportive of me. Except for Mr yazid who claimed I should get a new driving licence!

oh man! This kid gave me some cork and bull story about playing for a club and cannot come for CCA because it so happens that the training falls on the same days. He gaven't been coming at all for the whole year! Blatantly tell me funny stories, blatantly lying, and the story do not tally! All in all, I don't know who to call to verify. I don't know whether the story is true! After I tell him and reprimanded him for his story, he still dared to CRY!

Very angry... Fuming mad! FT still dare to say I scold until he don't dare to come to school. Ya right, can't even collect all the forms for me! Don't even know whether the $$ has been collected all in all or not! Still dare to comment: Angela scold the best person mah... etc etc! IRRITATING!

Yepz, I took over the class from Bee Lee juz now and they were really giving me problem. Took the longest of time to get ready for lesson! I think this is probably the first time I am really angry with the class... I was often flustered and tired after the class, but never really angry! I literally said I will give up on them if their attitude is going continue to be like that... My goodness! I wished I can point fingers at those who were not paying attention... Even the good kids were not behaving to help me. I have to settle the class.... each kid at a time wor!

Frankly, I'm going crazy... I'm turning into this woman who is constantly hounding the kids. Oh my! I can see them trying harder than they used to... I can see them really trying harder! I'm blogging this as I am invigilating 4E3 doing their prep for the 2nd time. Not that I am skiving or what, but they are really being very focused. Though A***** falling asleep and Z** giving up on questions already. I can see the rest really trying and I am grateful for that!

YOU NEED TO BE WORKING BEYOND YOUR THRESHOLD OF PAIN!

4E2 is also starting to work harder. I mean, despite, silently wishing that I would be lazy and forget about the prep for paper 2 yesterday. All of them still stayed back to do the paper without my supervision. Like what irni said, "can leave them to do meh?" I would think so! Although to my dismay, K*** L** and A*** had a remote short discussion somehow, but the rest were pretty focused. I can't wait to mark and see their progress. I may get disappointed... But I think it's still another proactive step towards prelims!

My most challenging hike thus far!

Suffering from depression as I walked up the first leg of the journey because I was moving alone and I lost all my pals. Seriously, I was so lonely I was weeping. But I pressed on, subconsciously slowing down tremendously until the rest of them caught up with me.

The hike up was a torture! Not only do we have to hike up in the dark at 2 am, I was also suffering from altitude sickness. Finally when I was around 300 m away, I couldn't take it anymore. I told the guide, John.... (John is my hero!) "Can you take me all the way up?" He took my hand and guided me up swiftly, even managed to pass Joshua later on and I made it up FIRST! Really without him, I couldn't do it. At around 10 m more to the peak I told him to stop for a while cos I was really feeling nauseous. I VOMITTED. But after that, it was more comfortable and I was energized to go all the way up!

Up at the peak, finally when Joshua joined me as the second up there:
Josh: Do I look pale?
Me: No ah... Ok what, WHY?
Josh: I'm just wondering, cos you looked very pale.

Freaky! I looked like a ghost lor! It is so cold at the peak that we were a little frozen to take pictures, not to mention I really looked like a ghost! Sigh.... All the pictures were ugly!

Subsequently, Samantha came up then Alex and Noel and Zhiping... Hee! It was fantastic! Too bad the peak was so packed with people we couldn't take a group photo! Plus we had to run so that we can catch the timing for the Ferrata!

Update more later with pictures (Not those which I looked like a ghost though)....

The movie is fantastic! Haven't laughed like that in a long long while... You'll start off hating the Tom (Patrick Demsey) for whatever he was doing. And your heart goes all out to Hannah who was always secretly carrying a torch for Tom. I've been there, the feeling is not all that glam.

But as the story goes, Tom realised he loved Hannah, and tries very hard to get her back. Of course! He managed in the end. But he was lucky, should the guy Hannah was supposed to marry be a little bit more compatible, he would have lost everything!

You'll have to go to their concert to know that all other concerts cannot compare!

阿信 may not have the most fantastic voice in the world, like wat can can kept emphasizing! Sometimes, a little off pitch but who cares! The thing is, his charisma and charm is irresistible! I was melting when he sang... I've always had a soft spot for men who can sing! Yepz... He can sing too!

The concert was awesome! Can't explain... Watch the video! although our 171 bucks seats were still miles away. For a few moments, the band was really close to us when they were walking along the mini runway! I'll keep on trying until I get the best seats... Though that means it's the next year already!

I am quite unhappy today after just 4 teaching periods. I went in today really quite happy. Cos I enjoy the classes that I teach. REALLY I do! But 4T1 was making sooooooooooooooooo much noise that I start to question whether I know how to manage them. I was especially mad when I saw the teacher next door shut their door. Goodness gracious! (Pls check with me personally to find out why I'm so angry). Seriously, I don't deserve this....

I know that I can manage my classes, but it is quite tiring to have to do it my way. I'll need to revise how I manage all my classes.

I've bought the Jeff Chang's concert tickets! Finally decided to go....

Also bought the David Tao's concert tickets again, HOPEFULLY I'm not too silly for forsaking that $171 tickets and get the $108 one. Wish me luck!

Best wishes to 4E2! I've seen them very moved by the Adam Khoo's workshop. I did tear a little bit... For Valent and Leuven and Louis.... Sorry to those whom parents I did not managed to speak to... I made it a point to call everyone but of course some of your parents were too busy to pick up my phone call!

We need to all remember that the effect this workshop has on us. I was really a cynic and still am... I'm waiting to see the power the workshop! But I hope it's positive! Hopefully those tears wasn't shed for naught!

Thanks Carine for reminding me that there are friends whom I can fall back on.

We had a long long chat on sunday. I thought it might me a long long talk about her wedding plans and stuff, but it was not. It was very comfortable, she has been really a best friend for the longest of time!

She went through some psychological test on me after I told her I think I need therapy. At first, I was very cynical about what it was about. I didn't think I would be receptive if she were to psycho-analyse me. However, she was very objective about the whole game. The whole exercise reminded me about what I really want, or should focus in my life.

Heard so much about the Adam Khoo's workshop. Some students are going for it come monday, I hope it will really motivate them.

On my way back from cousin's house just now, I started tearing thinking about the last entry. I told myself this will be the very last time I'm tearing.

It is so hard to motivate myself to have to go through this again tomorrow. I'm still strengthening my heart to take it, my heart still races whenever I remember how angry I was about the sloppy work I see, it's me I think. My heart cringe for them. They don't bother, should I.

Please let me remember why I'm still around as the 3 years term is coming up. To let go and move on is so easy.... But do I want to?

On the verge of giving it up....

I think prob I'm too hard on these people and myself. Just got a reminder email from my big boss to see her on Monday. I should have known it will come.

If the feedback is negative, I will learn and I will stop. Those people should be given a choice whether they want to do their work properly. I will start giving them the CHOICE. I have a friend who always gave me a very clear insight as how to he will teach and I'm always very amazed. Judging from that 69% "A"s, his method really works.

I will work on achieving that. I think I know what to do now.... I am not giving up, I'm just giving those people who refused help a miss. I will not dwell on matters that they think are not of their concern. Why should I even bother? They don't help me, and I end up risking my career options.

Please keep in mind I still do have a few lovely kids, who hands in on time, pays attention in class. Sometimes, it's all about lowering expectations. Afterall, I'm not teaching in my alma matar nor am I teaching my cousins, I'm teaching in BV!

Celia: 1st Mar 2007. Long awaited! It's going to be white short dress for the tea ceremony and Peijun's going to get the girls matching gowns. Exciting! Just got her email about the updates. She's still in Hanoi... Poor thing! She prob really wants to be back in SG to plan her own wedding!

I'm the porcupine today? Was quite sianz by some stuff.... Whatever...

I can barely get enough sleep these days. I can see that pile of marking coming.... I had better clear clear clear this week!

周杰伦演唱会 Actual...

It was a little disappointing. His voice was not consistent. I asked my friends who watched the first concert the day before. His voice couldn't make it in the middle of the first concert. Perhaps he wasn't on form. Maybe he was having a sore throat. Perhaps he really cannot last 2 sessions. Anyway, my 200 bucks was really not worth it because:

The seats were really squeezy. We were seating almost shoulder to shoulder. It's worse than seating up in the built-in seats.
The place was really warm. Not just Jay was sweating. I was perspiring as well! Half way through, I had to take off my outer blouse.
All the men seemed to be giants that night. I'm not short, but I'm blocked by many men. Very tall! Irritating!
His voice wasn't that great that night!

I will not pay so much to buy the most expensive tickets anymore. I think the Cat 2 tickets are more worth it and it is equally as far if you end up with the back seats in Cat 1. I will only buy Cat 1 tickets if I get the front few rows or if I grow to 1.8m tall!

Today, I met my neighbour and her kid whilst walking to the market. Apparently they saw me at the concert. They were seating in the front 2 rows! But they got the tickets through some connection and she said the atmosphere was there. I was at the 31st row lor! It's bad!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The only consolation was that his concert was pretty entertaining, with his grandma dancing, gu zheng, drums, piano showcase. Plus a aftershow poster!

I took a couple of videos. They don't really stop you from filming if you are in the Cat 1 seats I guess. But there are a number of inconsiderate people holding up the big green hand. As a result, I always have a waving hand in my videos. Check this section out!!!!!

Mr Lim said "Hi" to me this afternoon. I was like "ya??" After half a year of MIA-ing, he still dared to msn me with such a lame msg! All those 客套话 went in order....

He used to be one of my very best of friends, we hang out almost every week. The appearance of a special other person in his life changed that I supposed. I mean, friends are always a notch lower than your loved one. 重色轻友 is quite normal. In fact, I find it is especially so for the woman. I've dealt with that, though at one point of time, I was a little disappointed how our friendship had turned out. But I know him very well, his pattern and all. And of course, I'm willing to forgive him for all the MIA business.

So he said it's all my fault that we are not keeping in contact, said I did not ask him out etc etc....

SUDDENLY it dawn on me that he is in USA! All the while, I wanted to buy Coach bag. It is much cheaper in the states than back here in Asia! HAHA! So I asked him... He very nicely told me to give him the model no. He even knew that I should give colour, and pricing etc. Even reminded me that the exchange rate would be poorer since he is using his credit card. So well informed! Perhaps he is already buying for someone? haha.... Whatever, I'll make use of this opportunity!

He has made me a very happy girl on this sunday. Made me feel less of a nerd to be staying at home to prepare tomorrow's work. I'm so glad we chatted...

Lastly, I kinda miss him... I used to have one more person I can randomly call and chat. Without him, it's one less such person. Hope he'll be safe and sound in US, and the chill will not get to him...

I think you have crossed the line...

I came home at 2 plus this afternoon hoping to rest. Then to my horror, I found all my shoe boxes taken out of my shoe rack. My shoes were all lined up EXPOSED! I have a habit of keeping my shoes in boxes, so that they will not get dirty that easily. Fungus will also not grow so easily if the shoes are well kept. I love shoes as some of you may know.

Imagine my horror..... I think there is one couple who are too free in my apartment. They are perpetually always around. I have dealt with that. But I am appalled that my brother's girlfriend has taken the job to re-organise my shoe cupboard for me.

As much as she is a nice girl, I think she has crossed the line and it is really testing my patience. Maybe I need to pass some movie tickets, some vouchers for them.... GET OUT OF THE HOUSE! They are so free until she is trying to mess with my shoes. What's next? My clothes??!!!

梁静茹演唱会 2007

It's a concert that we have been looking forward to... Of course, after so many trips during this holiday, the excitement for the concert seemed to have taken a backseat for awhile.

The start of the concert wasn't that great. Might even said that it was a little disappointing. But thank goodness, with her sweet and crystal-clear voice, 梁静茹 sang to her best. I was touched by some of the songs she sang. So sweet, so romantic.... It would be a plus if you were there with your special someone.

News that 阿信 was going to be the guest of honour delighted me! Really looking forward to seeing him on the stage again. Although his solo was a little disappointing. The duet with Fish was great. His voice seemed pretty hard for him to match with any female artiste. Even 陈绮贞's duet with him wasn't that fantastic, but it was definitely one of his better duets.

Enough about 阿信, else the focus will drift away from 梁静茹. She had a number of great songs, but all of us were touched by her version of 林忆莲's 诱惑的街. It was sweet and delightful.... Nostalgic for the few of us....

After the concert on our way back to my car, I got into a heated discussion about 阿信's voice with "Ben and Jerry". Apparently, they are not fans. Argh! Described 阿信's voice as "破"!!!!!!!!!! How IRRITATING... Really had the urge to ask them to take a cab back on their own!

Post-concert supper was held at a hawker centre at lavender. The Wan Tan noodle is really not bad though it was indeed pricy.

Fish Leong Concert 2008

Tonight's the Fish Leong's concert!!!!! And guess what? My wish came true.... The special guest is Ah Shin! I'm totally looking forward to the concert! Will definitely be taking loads of pictures.

Everyone's supposed to wear red colour as already mentioned by Fish during her interview on YES93.3. I wonder how long the concert will be. I know most of her songs. Was happily humming some of the tunes during the KTV session with Edmund the other day, though my throat was really bad that day. Still I do hope there'll be lyrics on the screen. Imagine the love songs crooning....

I wonder when is Mayday coming for concert this year. They promised it'll be in the Indoor Stadium.

This is Fish's new song... I haven't got the time to buy the new album but definitely will get it soon....

Initally I thought it would be easy to find an internet cafe to sit down and do up my blog during the trip. However, it is rather troublesome to hang out at the internet area at the hotel. I seemed to have more important things to do all the time.

The trip has been excellent! Esp Dalat and Hoi An thus far... Highly recommended and I am announcing now that I will come back to Vietnam sometime next year. No one can beat the cheap and good tailoring. I tailored a total of 4 dresses and 4 pants! Not to mention the beautiful scenery and food....

It was surprisingly safe for women to travel in the country... B3 and I really have to be thankful for that. Imagine if it weren't "safe".... How bored we would be otherwise. I'll update more later on specific interesting stuff I've seen in Vietnam.

p.s. (a little note for myself): I must say the trip has been very eventful.... I am definitely "shocked" by a lot of things... However, certain things have been put into perspective and I am really glad for that. I can finally so to speak, MOVE ON!!!!!!!

We are going to celebrate Shuxian's last few days of singlehood. We are so glad that she is getting married on the 17th December 2007 and it's going to be a very beautiful event, we are sure of that! It is the first time I'm going to be someone's "jie-mei". I'm so excited that I told her I would coordinate her hen's party. It's about time we treasure the times when we can hang out at GIRLS ONLY parties.

I can't help it, I wonder what mine will be like.... Woman all love to let their minds wander when it comes to their wedding day....

Tot I could get some work done.... Teaching all new levels next yr, scary.... Just as many prep as this yr. I wonder when this will ever stop.... don't think it will ever, even if I prep the lessons already, there is always a need to update and find other ways to make it more suitable for the various classes.

I'm not sure how come I am so tired.... Think I'll have to start my prep before I leave for vietnam. Else I wouldn't have done anything at all!

Went for the ICET for the past 2 days... STRESSED! Exposed to all the different teaching methods.... Gaming??!!! Blogging??!! It's a little scary sometimes.
